spoon.er.ism n: a verbal error involving the transposition of letters or sounds of two or more words, resultantly changing the meaning, often to humorous effect.

ex: "While looking for the Fox & Hound bar & grill, the customer became lost as a result of inquiring about the Hocks & Found restaurant, unaware of his own spoonerism."
