ro.man.tic adj: 1) having no basis in fact, 2) imaginary, 3) impractical in conception or plan, 4) marked by imagination or idealism, as opposed to realism.

ex: "If the world had an airborne water molecule for every relationship that has unexpectedly gone astray, the planet would be covered in romantic fog, if it weren't already by now."
